the Philip Lance Van Every Foil Neurorehabilitation and Training Fund.
The Irving I. and Felicia F. Rubin Family Brain Injury Research Fund
The Irving I. and Felicia F. Rubin Family Brain Injury Research Fund solicits research grant
proposals on an annual basis to improve recovery and care following brain injury. One-year
proposals dealing with cognitive and physical/neurological functioning following brain injury
are given special consideration. Successful applicants are required to report a summary of research
findings at a meeting or conference at a national/international level as part of the Irving I. Rubin Lecture.

The Philip Lance Van Every Foil Neurorehabilitation and Training Fund provides funding for community-based
innovative neurorehabilitation programs, for evidence-based practice guidelines in acquired brain injury and
for professional meetings and conferences. Successful applicants are required to provide annual reports and complete
financial disclosure. This fund also supports public policy efforts related to brain injury, education, research,
treatment, and training.
The Foundation is open to receiving other dedicated funds to enhance research and clinical care in brain
injury. The Foundation is pledged to maintaining a low administration overhead of 5% so that 95% of all funds
go directly to support the mission.
